Expert Management
How to browse, filter, and manage expert witness profiles on the platform.
The Experts page lets staff browse and manage all expert witness profiles — both claimed and unclaimed.
#Accessing Expert Management
Navigate to Admin Dashboard → Experts. The page shows a filterable list of expert profiles with a count badge.
#Filtering Experts
Use the filter toggle at the top to switch between:
- All — shows every expert profile on the platform
- Claimed Only — shows only profiles that have been claimed by a real user
Changing the filter resets pagination to page 1.

#Expert List
The table displays the following columns:

| Expert Name | Always | Full name, with a flag icon if the profile is flagged |
| Claimed | Always | Green "Claimed" or amber "Pending" badge |
| Status | sm+ | Profile status: active, inactive, pending, or flagged |
| Location | md+ | City and state |
| Created | xl+ | Profile creation date |
Click any row to open the Expert Detail Drawer.
#Expert Detail Drawer
The drawer slides in from the right and shows the full expert profile with management actions.

#Available Actions
- Flag / Unflag — flag a profile for review. Flagged profiles display a warning icon in the expert list and may be deprioritized in search results.
- Status Changes — update the profile status:
- Active — profile is live and searchable
- Inactive — profile is hidden from search results
- Pending — profile is awaiting verification
- Flagged — profile has been flagged for review
- Subscription Management — view and manage the expert's subscription tier and status.
#Status Badges
Each status has a distinct color to help you quickly scan the list:

| Flagged | Red |
#Pagination
The expert list paginates automatically. Use the Previous / Next controls at the bottom of the table to navigate.
Tip: Use the "Claimed Only" filter when reviewing profile quality — claimed profiles have been actively maintained by experts and are more likely to have complete, accurate information.
