Credits & Unlocks
How credits work, how to buy them, and what unlocking an expert profile means.
Credits are used to access contact details on Free-tier expert profiles. Experts who subscribe to Pro or Premium have fully open profiles — their contact information is visible to everyone without spending credits.
#Open vs. Locked Profiles
- Pro and Premium experts — full profile including contact details (phone, email) is openly accessible. No credits needed.
- Free-tier experts — contact details are hidden behind a lock. Spending 1 credit "unlocks" the profile, revealing their contact information.

Unlocks are permanent:
- Once you unlock a profile, it stays unlocked in your account forever
- You can re-view the contact details at any time at no extra cost
- Unlocks carry over if you change credit packages
#Buying Credits
Visit the Pricing page to purchase a credit package:

Credits are one-time purchases — there is no subscription for attorneys. Buy what you need, when you need it.
#Firm Credits
If your account is part of a firm, credits are shared across all firm members. Any attorney in the firm can use the firm's credit balance.

#Free Credit
New accounts receive 1 free credit when you complete your attorney profile. Use it to unlock any expert.
#Viewing Your Balance
Your current credit balance is displayed in the top navigation bar and on your dashboard stat cards. Click "Buy more" to go directly to the pricing page.
#Credits Never Expire
Purchased credits have no expiration date. They remain in your account until used.
