Exlitem offers four affiliate tiers, each with different levels of access, rate limits, and features.

#What Each Tier Includes
#Basic
The entry-level tier for testing and low-traffic sites. You get up to 3 visible expert results per search and 100 searches per day. Ideal for personal blogs or small directories.
#Standard
For established websites with moderate traffic. Includes 5 visible results, dark mode support, custom brand colors, and the ability to lock searches to a specific specialty. Good for niche legal directories.
#Premium
For high-traffic sites and professional integrations. Up to 10 visible results, 2,000 daily searches, and enhanced commission rates. Suitable for large legal marketplaces and media sites.
#Enterprise
Custom-tailored for partners with specific needs. Includes unlimited daily searches, custom rate limits, custom visible result counts, API access for server-side integration, and dedicated support. Contact our team to discuss your requirements.
#Rate Limits
Rate limits prevent abuse and ensure fair usage across all affiliates. When you exceed your rate limit:
- The widget displays a "Rate limited" message to visitors
- Requests return a
429HTTP status code - The limit resets automatically after the window expires (typically 1 minute)
Daily search limits reset at midnight UTC.
#Upgrading Your Tier
To upgrade your affiliate tier:
- Contact your account administrator or our partnerships team
- Your admin will update your tier in the affiliate management dashboard
- The change takes effect immediately — no code changes needed on your site
Your API key stays the same when you upgrade. The widget automatically uses the new limits.
